Who is this for?

If you are facing a brick wall in your life or can’t seem to move beyond an obstacle- internal or external- book this appointment. I have always loved getting someone’s chart who is stuck or going through a difficult time and gently poking, prodding, and piecing apart the different planets and talking them out with the person. Rather than shy away from difficulty, my eyes have always gone straight for the difficult aspects like oppositions, squares and t-squares, and over time as we discuss what’s been going on, we see how the aspects interact within you and your life. My aim is to walk shoulder-to-shoulder through your chart with you, talk about what’s working and what’s not, help you see your situation(s) in a way you haven’t seen it before, and figure out some solutions. (plural “situations” because everything is connected. :))

How does it work?

Upon payment, I’ll send you an intake sheet and a list of some auspicious dates to choose from. Then I’ll send you a Google Meets link for that time.

What will you get out of this?

My goal throughout our conversation is to help you get to a clearing and get focus on what or how you need to proceed to get to the next level. I want you to see your archetypes in a new light, how they’re connected within you, and how certain themes ebb and flow during your most recent – or upcoming- transits.

What is Inquiry?

Inquiry is a quiet and safe setting where you are asked one or more questions in different formats- it’s like you’re peeling back the layers of your psyche like an onion to reveal fears, motives, and unconscious connections and associations for you to work with- that you were previously unaware of. As long as you come into it knowing that the awkward pauses and blocks of silence while you think are okay, you can really come to some interesting realizations during this exercise. The most popular inquiry formats are Repeating Questions and Monologues and they come from the Diamond Approach and Enneagram schools.

Why would I want to do Inquiry?

If you’re wanting someone to hold space for you while you dig into feelings around:

• politics
• career
• love
• family
• money
• other pressures, fears or stressors

… this is a bite-sized opportunity out of your day to explore what’s going on around what you have to say, and to draw up more material from the unconscious to work with in a non-judgemental setting. We will use one or two of the Diamond Heart inquiry formats (repeating question and/or monologue), depending on your preference, and the questions can either come from you, me or both of us. Whatever is coming up for you, all you need to bring to the session is your curiosity and will to explore. If you don’t have a specific question, we can come up with one together.

What am I doing while you’re answering the questions? I’m facing you on the screen, listening to your answers, repeating the questions when you’ve completed each answer (for Repeating Questions), and internally practicing the Buddhist principle of non-reaction (ie. whenever I do have a reaction, to do my own inner inquiry about it silently or later because this time is all about you.) Then when you’re done, we can recap together if you want- rephrasing and summarizing where you got in your exploration. Or you can use the whole 20 minutes for inquiry.

When you don’t know the answer to the career question, it can drive you crazy! Where are you supposed to direct your energy? What should you study? Where do you “fit”? We all long to have an honorable career and be useful to society. I believe each of our lives is sacred, and we’re all here to serve an important purpose in our communities- yes… all 8 billion of us.

Let me help you hone in on a career and/or source of income that will support you financially and that you will enjoy, using career and money techniques from different schools of astrological thought (Western, Vedic, Astrocartography, etc).

We will look at:

• Your sun (where your egoic self wants to shine)
• Your Ascendant lord and its placement
• The lord of your MC (the entrance to the career house), its placement and sign, and any planets in the 10th house
• Your moon (where you feel emotionally comfortable)
• Any planets in your 2nd house of money/savings, its lord, and its placement
• Any planets in your 8th house of self-employment income, its lord, and its placement
• Any planets in your 11th house of income from employment, its lord, and its placement
• Your North Node- what you were born into this life to learn
• Any fixed stars that may be relevant
• Your D-9 Vedic chart (the divisional chart that kicks in later in adulthood)
• Your D-10 Vedic chart (the divisional chart that deals with career)
• Your Lot of Spirit and Zodiacal releasing
• If Astrocartography (relocating) could help you financially

When you book this appointment, I’ll send you an intake form asking you about your age, experience, education, talents, abilities and disabilities that you know of, and budget for any kinds of classes or education. We will do some exercises that poke and prod some planetary archetypes in your chart and see how they react in the real world, and in you as well.

There is no maximum age for this! No shame necessary about how much time you’ve “wasted”. All ages and experience levels can find their place.

How do I work?

Moving is SUCH a big deal so we want to get this right! A booking with me consists of us corresponding by e-mail for about two weeks, then we have a final session where we meet and discuss the final results for 1.5-2 hours. By the time you meet, I will have already sent you most of the slides in my Powerpoint deck and you’ll have had a chance to digest things at a bit of a slower pace so you’re not panicked during our meeting to ask all the questions. During the meeting, we go over a Power Point deck with my findings, anything you want clarity on, or any additional questions. Then after meeting, I send you the final slide with my recommendations so you can go over everything later.

My style of working is a bit of a longer process than other astrologers, which is why I do it over the course of a few weeks. I like to process your chart and replies slowly to think things through. Sometimes I’ll come up with ideas, questions, or insights from having slept on something, or by getting an intuitive hit. After receiving your intake form, you’ll hear from me in few days with some follow-up questions or remedies to try. Especially if we’ve never met and especially if you’re not sure of your Enneagram type, it’s important for me to get enough of a grasp on what you’re facing so you can really feel really informed and empowered to make a good decision for where to move. My goal is to help YOU develop a bit of an expertise on where you’ve decided to go and why.

What is Astrocartography?

Astrocartography really opens up questions of the nature of reality and human consciousness. It’s based on the idea that when we’re born, we’re “born” everywhere in the world at once. Relocating, then, is just a way of “turning the dial” on our charts, and if we’re strategic about it, we can stretegically relocate to a place that brings the best aspects of our charts to the fore. This session will help you find somewhere in the world to visit or live that will bring out the most desirable aspects in your astrological chart for what you’re wanting to emphasize. There won’t be a perfect place, but depending on whether you’re looking for love, money, a better career, or to just find a place in the world that makes you feel safer, less tired, more respected, or more beautiful, for example, we can look to put the relevant lines on your angles to emphasize your chosen themes.

What can you expect?

In this session, I look at the following things:

• your current transits and solar return year
• how the most recent eclipse(s) have affected you, and if the upcoming eclipses will be affecting you
• your zodiacal releasing, to find what themes you’re working with, and any themes that are coming up
• your astrological lines where you are and where you’d like to go, or where you might want to consider. I use astro.com and Solar Fire software.

My goals are to:

1. Get to know you, your goals, and priorities through your Get-to-Know-You Intake Form, which you receive by e-mail after signing up.
2. Help YOU get to know your chart, as we talk about what’s working and what’s not working in your current location.
3. Select some options of cities, weighing them against each other, talking logistics like visas, language, and university, etc. as applicable.
4. Come up with some remedies or exercises to improve some difficult aspects in your chart.

Once you’ve thought about it and processed where you’d like to go, you can do a $60 follow-up session for electing important times for important events like:

• putting your house of for sale
• leaving on the road trip
• buying airplane tickets
• applying for a visa
• sending in other types of paperwork
• posting online ads for roommates
• applying for permits
• putting in an offer on a new house
• applying for your drivers licence in your new country
• etc.

Be strategic about where you spend your next birthday! Your solar return chart is a chart for the return of the sun to its original place in your birth chart, and it happens once a year very close to – if not exactly on – your birthday. Your solar return chart shows what your year is going to be like between birthdays. If the upcoming year looks difficult, you can relocate (travel) for your birthday and give your year a different emphasis. Based on your priorities and budget, we will find a good vacation destination for your birthday.

This reading uses astrocartography. I use astro.com and Solar Fire software.

Did you know that your T-square is full of potential?

About 40% of us have them in our charts- and while that doesn’t necessarily make us more successful than others, the pressure in our T-squares fuels our motivation. That said, they do require special care and attention unpacking them in order to attain that potential and corral the three points going in different directions to work together. When we don’t become conscious of our three competing planets, we can get leak energy through the apex planet and give up.

Whether you’ve noticed how frustrating it can be to use even just one point on the triangle productively without having the other two interfering, or if you don’t know where the pain point is yet, but you know that you have a T-square and want to know how to work with it, this study group is for you!

This reading draws on the concepts of Carl Jung and the widsom traditions of Astrology, the Fourth Way practice, and the Enneagram.

“In The Symposium, Plato describes how the gods originally created a perfectly whole, androgynous human being, one who was so self-complete that he/she lacked motivation, and defied the gods’ orders to perform human tasks. As a result, the gods split this being into two selves- male and female- each one now motivated to find the missing half in order to experience completion.

This myth clearly explains the cause of the attraction between the sexes; it is also a fitting metaphor for the incompleteness known to the T-square person, who is forever driven to find the missing piece. Incomplete gestalts act like magnets; the incomplete person draws to herself, as well as attempts to create within herself, the missing part which will help to alleviate the agonizing sense of emptiness, of hanging open, of feeling exposed, or raw and amputated. A person with a T-square may also feel fragmented, as if she has been torn into many parts by forces beyond her control, as a result of some deep-seated deficiency.”

My goal with this reading is that you’ll have gotten enough information to get you navigating around your T-square with ease so you can identify when the fight for priorities is happening. You’ll also leave with some strategies for keeping all the planets happy.

*[Sometimes] Difficult but Rewarding: Finding your Enneagram Personality Type

Finding your Enneagram gives a BIG boost to integrating the planets in your astrological chart. When you see yourself wholistically and understand that your disparate, unintegrated planets make sense and you see the internal logic that you’ve been operating on, however flawed, you can have a much greater compassion yourself. When you learn your type, the Enneagram gives you a personalized map of emotional intelligence growth specific to your personality type, which also helps you get more out of your astrology sessions. To find out your type, you can do an Enneagram test. There are lots of “free” versions online that surprise you with a charge at the end, but one of the original and most well-known tests is the RHETI test, and it is USD $20. It takes about 40 minutes to complete. A test can only do so much, though; ultimately, your observation practice of your reactions and mental, instinctual, and emotional patterns will help you find your type more than a test will.
